2008 Meetings and Conferences
- PILDAT-UNESCO organized a conference on “Education of all in Pakistan”- February 2008
- Workshop on Advocacy, Lobbying and Media Skills organized by PAIMAN Alumni Trust- June 2008
- CGN-P was the featured speaker at an educational conference by Agha Khan University. The conference was titled “Status of Educational Reforms in Developing Countries”- April 2008
- CGN-P participated in a consultative meeting of UN education programs organized by TWG-June 2008
- Participated in a workshop titled “National Strategic Prioritization” organized by UNICEF in Islamabad-June 2008
- Regional workshop on early learning and development standards held by UNICEF in Bangkok-April 2008
- CGN-P participated in a seminar on “Innovation in Katchi” held by TRC- May 2008
- CGN-P partnered with USEFF to send eight CGN-P team members to Montana State University to expand their knowledge on topics related to early childhood education - August 2008
- CGN-P organized a follow up training workshop in AJK from May 12 – 30, 2008.
- CGN-P partnered with the South Asian Forum for Education Development, Punjab University, and Pratham India to organize a five day workshop on quality education and educational levels – August 6 – 10, 2008.
- Literacy Day was held in Paris at the UNESCO headquarters and this years theme was “Literacy is the best Remedy”– September 8, 2008
- The Chief Executive of CGN-P attended the White House Symposium, titled “Advancing Global Literacy: Building a Foundation fro Freedom.” It was hosted by Laura Bush in New York on September 22, 2008
- CGN-P participated in a validation workshop organized by the ELDS ROSA Validation workshop and UNICEF. It was held in Katmandu from the 22nd – 26th September.
