100 DAYS CELEBRATION IN PARTNER SCHOOLS

Children in various partner schools of CGN-P recently held 100 days celebrations. The day was marked to celebrate the end of first hundred days after the finishing the summer holidays.

The concept of 100 days is part of a wide range of ‘learning through play’ techniques propagated by CGN-P in its partner schools. Teachers and heads of partner schools were introduced to the idea by CGN-P’s master educators with a view to motivating children to be regular at school and promoting healthy competition amongst children. Each teacher devised a strategy whereby the children learnt something new everyday. This ranged from simple things such as news words and their meanings for younger grades and  Ahadiths and Quranic verses for older grades.

A quiz testing the students’ knowledge was held on this day. The CGN-P team was invited to partake of the celebrations and participate in gift distribution ceremonies for the winners. A feeling of festivity was in the air with children wearing specially made hats and holding parties through out the day. Parents were also invited to be part of the festivities.
